VIRTUAL
Eating Disorder Therapy
Healing shouldn’t be limited by geography or access. At Body Liberation Collective, we offer virtual eating disorder therapy for individuals across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, so you can receive specialized support wherever you are. Our online sessions are just as compassionate, collaborative, and effective as in-person care, grounded in trauma-informed, weight-inclusive (HAES-aligned) treatment.

Our Approach to Virtual Therapy
Virtual sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video platforms. You’ll receive the same high-quality care we provide in person, including:
Individual therapy for anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, orthorexia, and body image concerns
Support for co-occurring concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and OCD
Integration of approaches like CBT-E, DBT-informed work, ACT, FBT, MBNET, NARM, and EMDR (when appropriate via telehealth)
Does Virtual Eating Disorder Therapy Work?
Yes. Research shows that telehealth for eating disorder treatment is effective, particularly when care is collaborative and trauma-informed.
Many clients find that virtual therapy increases comfort, reduces barriers to getting started and makes it easier to stay consistent with care.
Who We Support
Adolescents and teens navigating body image concerns, social media pressures, or disordered eating
Adults seeking support for long-standing patterns with food and body image
Families looking for guidance in supporting a loved one
Why Choose Virtual Eating Disorder Therapy?
Many clients choose virtual therapy because it is:
Accessible: no commute and greater flexibility
Comfortable: meet from the privacy of your own space
Consistent: maintain support during travel, school or life transitions
Inclusive: access specialized, HAES-aligned care even if it’s not available locally
